The IPA Journal Club (JC), moderated by Jack Drescher, MD, and Chritopher Walling, PsyD, is a project of the IPA Communications Committee. It meets 5-6 times per academic year (September-June) for 75 minutes. At present, each meeting is in English and features a guest author who discusses with registrants an article or book chapter they have published.

Registration, which is free of charge, is open to IPA members and candidates, interested mental health professionals, scholars and academics. A copy of the article will be made available to registrants, also free of charge and with the copyright owner’s permission, in advance of the meeting. Ideally, all registrants will read the article beforehand and have an opportunity to ask questions or make comments to the guest author.
